elizabeth + ben’s photodate in boston

photos and post by mariah:

elizabeth and ben are getting married next june in one of my favorite spots … weekapaug! it is so cute there, can’t wait! in the meantime, we thought it might be fun to take some photos in boston where they work and hang out… ben is fond of acorn street so with the help of some gps technology and a kindly pedestrian, we were able to find it on foot. unfortunately we were tricked and then ejected from acorn street by an unkindly resident who threatened to charge us for taking photos on her street! to you madam {a.k.a. the acorn street “nut”}, i send a virtual rasberry. your karma just lost a few points for being mean to a couple as cute as ben and elizabeth. not to mention a photographer as cute as me! no matter, we can’t be stopped by a cranky little old lady. we found lots of picturesque nooks for our photos. i am especially fond of the shutters with the little cut our hearts… awww. now, i would like to give special credit to ben for his creative man posing. i really like his arms crossed pose. it’s very manly and attactive in the photos. i think the guys often feel awkward posing for photos. i asked ben just to stand so that he was comfortable – and how he might normally stand when not being harrassed by papparazzi. he ran with it- and the ben stance was born! i shall now refer to this pose as the ben stance, so future victims { i mean grooms } … pay attention! watch ben and learn. p.s. elizabeth didn’t need any special instructions, she’s just naturally adorable.

Natural photos of a wonderful couple. We are so happy for you, Ben and Elizabeth. Every smile, every twinkle of your eyes just confirms you are meant to be together. We love you both.
