melissa and liz had the pleasure of shooting this beautiful intimate wedding at a private home in cape cod. i adore small weddings, and this one was particularly special. elayna and jordan couldn’t narrow down their choices for bridesmaids and groomsmen so they just asked everyone attending to wear blue! i love how this looks in th photos, such a clever idea! elayna calls her friends in blue her “faux-bridesmaids”, and jordan refers to the men as his “dudesman” in stead of groomsmen. everyone coming to the wedding stayed at the ol’ cottage which made for a super cozy weekend for elayna and jordan surrounded by all their best friends and family. it’s easy to see that elayna has an absolute knack for making every detail picture perfect while making her guests feel relaxed and at ease. the happiness can be felt in every photo! because they are so loved, there were toasts galore and melissa informs me that nearly everyone was choked up while speaking about elayna and jordan. i am crazy for elayna’s romantic vintage-esque dress by jim hjelm, and blue shoes by Cappros. elaynas is simply stunning, a real beauty. she could have worn a burlap bag, but i’m really glad she didn’t! she carried her grandmother’s pin on her bouquet which was done by Bee and Blossom of Hyannis. e and j are major foodies and were probably most excited about their caterer, chef sean dailey of eat your heart out caterers. there wedding cake was by cape cod cakes, and the groom’s special dessert was key lime pie {my fav too}. total groove was their band- and jordan, a talented guitar player himself joined in a blew everyone away!
the photos on the beach are simply breathtaking – and it’s plain to see how in love elayna and jordan are!
