kelly found us through two former snap couples, adam & alison {married in 2009 in newport} and angela and greg {married 2008 in the dominican republic}. we were so honored that she chose us because kelly is definitely a girl who does her homework. she told us she looked at a lot of photographers! we were so happy she chose us, wychmere is an amazing venue which has recently undergone major renovations. it’s absolutely gorgeous with a very unique setting. i’m originally from the cape cod area and i love the cape cod terrain… beach grass, scrubby pine, and lots of sand and sun! kelly and stephen’s {a.k.a stubba} day did not disapoint. it was the quintessential sunny, warm, early autumn day with blue skies and a spectacular sunset. kelly and stubba are super fun-loving and have a group of funny, rowdy, amazing friends. it was really important to them to have great photos of their friends and family which i think speaks volumes about them. trish always loves it when we have couples from boston so she can show off her {boston talkin’}. that’s what her son calls her funny boston accent and choice boston phrases. he thinks it’s wicked pissa. anyway, she fit right in with stubba’s friends and they accepted her as one of their own. everyone was so agreeable and up for any of our photo suggestions… although i had to censor a few of the groomsmen photos {you know who your are}.
the lovely kelly’s hair and makeup was done by gina gubert and hillary rogers, respectively. her wedding gown is by lazaro and shoes are by vince camuto. i absolutely love the vibrant flowers done by patrice miley floral designs. montillio’s bakery created their super cute polka dot cake.the venue is of course wychemere harbor beach club, and karen rood deserves a little shout out for all her hard work that day!
