kate and dave are getting married in february at a venue i’ve never been to… gibbet hill. i am so excited to go there! kate and dave are hilarious. dave has that dry sense of humor where he says something really funny and then you wonder, wait was he serious? i love that! dave and i agree that there’s nothing worse than making a really good joke and then the recipient of the joke just kind of looks at you and says, “yeah, well … anyway…” we don’t like that do we dave? joke was on kate for their first date… dave was playing hockey before their date and got his front tooth knocked out. he called kate to say he was kind of banged up and maybe they should reschedule. kate was like yeah right… and thought he might just be blowing her off. i guess dave decided it was worth the risk and took kate out anyway with an emergency ill-fitting temporary tooth from the dentist. when dave met kate’s parents for the first time. he thought it would be funny to take out his fake tooth and ask kate to hold it for him. without flinching, kate tucked it in her purse. of course kate’s mother decided on the spot that they were probably meant to be. and the rest is history…

ps. you’ll be happy to know that dave got his tooth issues sorted out and now has two well fitted, permanent, pearly chiclets. dave i know you think that’s funny so if no one else does it’s okay.
