photos by mariah and trish, post by mariah:
3 words for you… happily ever after. turns out, it does exist. meet mary ellen and mike. they grew up together, went to highschool together {sweethearts}, went to both of their proms together, and then parted ways for … ten years! they found each other again and fell madly “back” in love. one thing leads to another and here they are on their wedding day! it was so fun to be around a couple with so much shared history. mary ellen’s sexy shoes are badgley mischka. her lovely locks and make up were styled by hikari tezuka.
mary ellen is a vision. did she look this good in highschool? i bet she did, although something tells me she’s just getting more gorgeous by the day. lucky mike. mary ellen’s beautiful veil is from l’ elite..jpg)

i love this photo!

meanwhile, the men are up to no good… as usual.

how cute are mike’s nephews? there were a ton of kids at the wedding and they were all super well-behaved.

i chose this photo of mike seeing mary ellen, but it was a tough choice. he had so many reactions and expressions as she came down the aisle. mike seems like a big tough guy but it was clear he was trying not to cry. i think he’s actually a softy.

love trish’s photo on the right.
mike is a little like the mayor. everyone loves him so there’s a lot of handshaking, waving, and hugging.
JOY
one of the best parts of the day in my opinion, was being driven out in the 4 wheeler for photos at the lighthouse. oh and by the way, the forecast was for rain. love this shot.

romantical.

mary ellen had these fun napkins at the cocktail hour to commemorate their highschool prom days!
the beautiful place cards were created by erin heath design.

you will not believe the mayhem that ensues during the reception. it is a post you do not want to miss so stay tuned tomorrow for part two.
