antonina + oscar’s wedding at castle hill (and the mooring)… newport ri

what a difference a day makes! antonina thought she was planning the perfect non-stress monday afternoon wedding. a small gathering of their best friends and family at one of the prettiest spots in newport… castle hill. unfortunately there was one uninvited guest, irene. as in hurricane irene. she blew into town on sunday and by monday had blown out again leaving blue skies and calm seas. unfortunately she also knocked out the power for almost all of rhode island … including newport… and definitely including castle hill. enter stress…. enter rebecca of castle hill. major shout out to rebecca for going above and beyond the call of duty to find a place for antonina and oscar to host their wedding dinner. they were able to get married on the beautiful grounds of castle hill, and of course do their photos! rebecca made a million phone calls and arranged for them to have their reception at the mooring. stoneblossom created the lovely lavender bouquets. antonina and oscar look as happy as can be and it turned out to be the perfect day after all.
