hadley + ryan’s wedding at a private residence, little compton ri… part two

photos by mariah, trish & liz:

these photos make me think hum amber waves of grain… and it was worth risking (and contracting) poison ivy, kneeling in the field to get these shots. i just hope hadley isn’t on her honeymoon scratching and cursing me for suggesting she stand in the tall grass. hey, anything for a good shot right? there aren’t really any words to describe how pretty the inside of the tent was, but rustic-tacular does come to mind. how about homespun-ilicious? every detail was perfect from the mustache table cards to the signature cocktails. this might be the most insane (in a good way) dancing crowd i’ve ever been jostled around by. the band was more than a band… more like a really wild interactive show, the guests did not stop dancing from the moment they started playing until the last note of the last song. all that dancing sure works up an appetite, what kind of midnight snacks might these guests be in the mood for? biscuits and homemade jam? well, we just happen to have baskets of those on hand, lovingly made by the mother of the bride as a parting favor. hadley and ryan and 200 of their closest friends and family really did have the time of their lives and so did we. thanks gang!
