franny + bobby’s wedding – private residence, nonquitt, ma…part one

photos by melissa and becca:

where is this magical land called nonquitt, where everything is green and pretty and the light is a photographer’s dream? somewhere out in the south dartmouth area i think, but we can’t be sure and will probably never be able to find it again! it was however, the most picture perfect, summer- breezy spot for the wedding of franny and bobby! a few things of note about this wedding… franny’s dress was fashioned from her mother’s gown! the top of the dress is new, but the bottom was her mothers. isn’t it floaty and fabulous? bobby is from texas, where as you know they do things big. this may account for the 13 groomsmen and 13 bridesmaids. i’m not exactly sure how becca and melissa managed to wrangle a bridal party of 28, but they did! good job ladies. luckily franny and bobby took the time to do their formal photos before the ceremony so they were able to take advantage of all the locations on this amazing property. my favorite is definitely the freshly tilled field. so dreamy!

Stunning photos of an unbelieveable event! I would love to find out the designer of the bride’s gown and where it is from. Congratulations to the couple, it looks like a spectacular day.

Beth, Sam Walls Beasley is the designer – she took my mother’s dress and reworked it (extensively).
