focus on…. yum! treated to treats from confectionery designs

tis’ the season for fattening up your neighborhood photographers! not that we are complaining, a visit from marie and mark of confectionery designs this time of year always leaves us with happy taste buds. (let’s not even talk about that pineapple cake from last christmas!) why send a card when you can deliver cookies, that’s what I always say! these beautiful confections (pecan, macaroon, and homemade chocolate chip cookies -mark’s mom’s recipe) were almost too pretty to eat, almost. We did manage to take a few photos before we scoffed them down though. if the images of these cookies lead you to sweeter thoughts of things like cake, your sniffer is on the right track! mark makes the most amazing wedding cakes of all, and you would be remiss not to call them for your wedding cake needs. because steve martin was wrong, a cake is not just flour and water.
