all i can say is anyone who has a wedding pie instead of a wedding cake is alright in my book. not that i am anti cake- I love cake. It’s just that pie is so under appreciated and frankly so superior to all other desserts. pumpkin was the perfect choice for this autumn extravaganza! Love the little loi and jon cake topper, especially the doggie topper - a replica of their  little Oscar! The floral “trees” created by Sayles livingston are spectacular, anytime you can incorporate birch wood into your decorating you should! in case you are wondering about the oars, the guests signed them in lieu of a guest book because  loi and jon met on the rowing team at tufts. sweet!
